Meet The Team
Director & Principle Landscape Architect |BLA | AILA
From an early age I have had a keen interest in art and gardens, admiring those who see things differently, and express these ideas through clever and creative designs. With over 20 years experience in Landscape Architecture, I have recognised the importance of maintaining the design intent to completion and witnessed the positive impact on completed landscapes, gardens and pools. Identifying the need for greater choice for residential Landscape Architects in the Perth market led to the establishment of tristanpeirce Landscape Architecture in 2018 providing a quality landscape design only service backed by a solid understanding of construction detailing and budgets. How I got here: Growing up in Perth studying art throughout schooling was followed by extensive travel throughout Europe. Returning to home, I knew a career in Landscape Architecture was the right fit and completed my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2002. After university, I began my professional career with Blackwell & Associates Landscape Architects before relocating to Tim Davies Landscaping. Here, I discovered my passion for residential landscape design moving into the position of Principal Landscape Architect, to manage a multi award winning team throughout my eleven years with the company.

Kylan is a Landscape Architect with qualifications in Masters in Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor degree in Commerce for Human Resources Management and Business Management at the University of Western Australia, over his career as a landscape architect Kylan has won multiple awards including the Australian Institutes of landscape architecture’s emerging achiever award. How I got here Growing up across Australia offered me the rare opportunity to develop a connection to the Australian bush and gardens few get to experience, something we try to incorporate in our jobs. Having a love for Architecture and Gardens led me to a space that allows me to express creativity, problem solve and compose gardens in an artistic and practical way. Through my career I’ve had the opportunity to work on some incredible jobs across Australia and Europe, and look forward to many more unique gardens!
Landscape Designer | DipLD
Dave is a Landscape Designer with a Diploma in Landscape Design who has worked within the local and national landscape industry for the past decade, Working on projects, from small residential gardens to large-scale public spaces. Involved from the initial sketch stage right through the design process to completion. This experience has given Dave a good understanding of all aspects of the landscape design industry here in Australia. How I Got Here Growing up in Ireland and traveling intensively during my younger years it was only after I returned to Australia 10 years after my initial visit that I began to understand the importance of connection to the outdoors. It is this connection that carries into the lifestyle of every household which is why it is so important to design a place that has functionality that suits the need of each client. It was this realization that attracted me to the Landscape industry in Perth having initially worked in the Architectural area of design. Having started my working life as an Architectural Technician it wasn’t until arriving back in Perth that I started using the skills gained in this industry to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces that meet the unique vision and needs of the client. As a landscape designer, I am committed to using my skills and knowledge to create spaces that not only look beautiful but also support the health and well-being of people and the environment.
Landscape Architect I BLA
Ella is a student currently studying a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia. With a passion for creating residential landscape spaces, she has joined our team eager to learn. Providing her with unique opportunities to design and interact with clients has increased her confidence in the field. How I got here Growing up surrounded by a family full of creatives and plenty of time spent in nature has shaped my appreciation for arts and all things beautiful. Along with my passion for plants and keen eye for detail, Landscape Architecture became the perfect fit for me. I commenced my studies at university in 2021 (COVID left no room for a gap year) and I am planning to continue with a Masters Degree in 2024. Since joining the guys at tpla I have learnt so much about what it is like to work as a landscape architect. It has really grown my enthusiasm for the profession, and I can’t wait to see where this takes me.
