Responding to the architecture, developing a brief with the client and retaining a large portion of the existing landscape drove this unique rural landscape design for our South West clients. Creating a useable turfed space for entertainment and outdoors games drove the lower landscape level, whilst using the existing site contours to create an out of ground plunge pool to overlook the borrowed landscape pulls the useable landscape away from the house on the upper level. Creating larges spaces of lower planting and grass allows the architecture to be on full display as well as ensures the landscape complies with fire safety.
