The Ultimate Family Garden

A generous property in Nedlands and the request to create an easy entertaining garden and pool for a young family drove this projects design. Our trusting clients allowed us to design a circular concrete seating space with cantilevered seating and steps as well as a cantilevered poolside structure and a fully tiled pool with a sun lounging ledge for relaxing and to assist the small children in learning how to swim. The design is infused with small curves to soften otherwise abrupt corners and runs along the axis of the home to link the key alfresco, pool and sunken seating areas together. Soft landscaping and succulents complement the stone pavements and deciduous and evergreen trees in the key locations ensure this is a garden to be enjoyed through the seasons.
